I took this image because it represents the stereotype that a boy is. In this photo he looks very intimating because he eyes are open wide making us look into them. The fact that he is wearing boxing gear also makes him seem very intimidating because we associate boxers with being violent and scary. I shot this image with a flash because I think it makes him stand out more as there is more light. Although, the flash makes a bold shadow it reflects the way he looks because he is bold and strong like the shadow. The fact that he is holding up a fist towards the camera also makes him look very intimidating too. This photograph has a deeper meaning because although he looks strong and powerful he could be hiding behind his fists as to what he is really like.
I took this image in this shoot because it shows what a stereotypical teenage boy likes to do. In this photo the main focus in the image is the controller and what his fingers are doing. I used the flash in this image too because it made the controller look bolder and stand out more making it more effective as the main focus. In this shoot we see a boy looking intimidating in his boxing wear, this picture contributes as what he likes to do to satisfy him. Although, he looks intimidating and strong he is taken over by playing video games which shows that he may not be as intimidating when he is playing his games.
I took this image in this shoot because it also shows what a stereotypical teenage boy does in his spare time, In this photo we can see that the main focus is his face and how mesmerised he is playing his games. I took this image without the flash because it takes away the boldness and the intimidation that he has shown throughout the other images in this shoot. In some of the other images he looks intimidating and strong but in this picture he looks weak and oblivious to what is going on around him as he is mesmerised by his game. The deeper meaning within this image is that he acts strong when he is wearing his boxing wear but when confronted by video games he becomes weak and gives into them.
I took this image in this shoot because it shows the stereotype of a boy. In this photo we can see a boys hand wrapped up for boxing and his fist is closed. I took this image with the flash because it adds more focus to his closed fist. The main focus in this image his fist but mainly his thumb is the main element we can see. By the colour of his hands we can see how tight he is holding his fist, he is trying to show his power and strength through gripping his fist hard. The deeper meaning to this image could be the fact that because boys want to be strong and powerful like men he had to show his power through strength as he believes this is what makes him a man.
I took this image in this shoot because again it shows a stereotypical boy and his urge to be strong and powerful. In this image we can see a boy holding up a fist with a calm expression. Although all the other photos in this shoot show him looking strong and powerful this one is the opposite because as much as he is trying to look strong by raising his fist his expression doesn't make him look strong at all. The way he looks also makes him look less intimidating because of his blonde hair and blue eyes it makes it harder for him to look powerful. The deeper meaning to this image could be that although teenage boys try to look powerful and strong they cannot achieve it because of the way they look.
