In this image we can see a boy about to save a goal, the ball isn't visible in this image but if it was we can imaging that it would be just above the cut off of this image because that is where is hands are reaching. Although this image isn't in focus, I think the blurriness adds great effect to the image because it is like the image has moved across with the ball. Also, the whole in the net of the goal also adds effect even though it isn't meant to be there. It just so happens that the boys hands and head fits nicely in the gap so we can see that this is the main focus of the image.
In this image we can see two boys in the goal, one looks like he is scoring the goal and the other is trying to save the goal. I think this image has a good effect because the who boys are in focus but the rest of the image isn't which adds more focus to the two boys. The fact they are standing behind a goal adds effect because it helps symbolise what these boys rely on. By having a goal, a football and wearing a football kit this image relies on symbols to tell us what constantly goes through these boys minds.
In this image we can see a boy with a football, in the distance we can see a boy running towards him. The fact that everything else around him is blurring creates more focus on him because he is the only element in the picture that is in focus. Also, the floodlight above him adds to the effect that he is the main focus of the image as it almost directs our eyes where to go. Elements in this photo add to the deeper meaning, footballers have all eyes on them constantly, especially when they have the ball. These younger boys inspire to be like the bigger footballers so they enjoy this spotlight because they feel like they are professionals.
In this image we can see a boy running towards a ball. Everything else around him is out of focus and blurred which gives more of an impact on him because he is the main focus of the image. I think the sky gives good effect in this image because everything past the football pitches is in eerie darkness whereas the football pitches are lit up and look more inviting. This gives a deeper meaning to the image as it represents these boys minds, everything else is in eerie darkness and the one thing that is lit up in their minds and the only thing they care about is football.
In this image we can see a boy holding the ball and a few boys scattered in front of him waiting for him to throw the ball. The fact that he has the ball and the other boys are watching him shows that he has the control over them and wherever he throws or kicks the ball the boys will follow. This shows that wherever this ball is the boys will follow because they want the control that the ball gives them. By having the ball it gives these boys an element of power because they are in the spotlight. This links back to them wanting to be professional footballers and wanting all the glory because once they have the ball they want to score a goal.
