Stereotypical life of a woman

In this image we can see a woman talking on the phone and gazing out of the window. We don't know who is on the phone but by the expression on her face it seems as though the conversation she is having is serious and she is concentration on listening. This links to the stereotypical life of women because we associate women with constantly talking on the phone, it also links to everyday activities because this is part of what she does everyday. 

In this image we can see a women ironing a top, there is a lot of steam coming from the iron. By looking at what she is ironing we can tell that she is ironing a mans t-shirt, this shows how stereotypical women have to care for the men. Women are stereotyped as to care for their family so the fact that she isn't ironing her own clothes shows that her job is to look after the family. It also links to everyday activities because it shows that she has to do this everyday to prepare her families clothes.

In this image we can see a woman folding the sheets and talking on the phone. After she has done the washing she has to fold the washing and put it away which is what she is doing in this image. We associate women with doing the washing and folding it up ready to put it away for her family. Doing the washing is a stereotypical women thing to do. This also links to everyday activities because the washing builds up everyday so she has to do the washing everyday.

In this image we can see a woman putting the washing out. It looks as though she is hanging bed sheets out, this shows that she may have just changed all the beds in her house so she can wash the sheets. This links to stereotypical women because she has to do all the house work for her family and this includes changing the beds and hanging the washing out. This also links to everyday activities because she has to repeat these actions daily as she is the only person who does it. 

In this image we can see a woman pouring fabric conditioner into the washing machine. This links to the stereotypical life of women and the fact that they have to do the washing. By focusing in more on the fabric conditioner it shows that these are the necessities that stereotypical women need to carry out their jobs. It also links to everyday activities because using this fabric conditioner is part of her daily routine.
